I’m Grant, and I’m here to hold the lantern.
For many of us, the loss of a pet is a quiet, lonely kind of grief. The world keeps moving, but for you, the house has gone silent, and the path forward feels hidden in shadows.

I created The Pet Loss Wayfinder because I believe that no one should have to navigate that darkness alone. I've been there.

My Philosophy: Grief isn't a problem to be solved. I don't look at grief as something "clinical" that needs to be fixed. Instead, I see it as a testament to a profound bond. Using my background as a qualified counsellor (Dip.Couns) and Pet Loss Grief Specialist (PLGS), I’ve combined professional skill with a "Wayfinding" approach. My goal isn't to lead you out of your grief, but to help you find your way through it—honouring your pet’s memory while finding your own footing again.

Based in Western Australia, I work with pet parents locally and globally. Whether you are facing the heavy decision of euthanasia, navigating the "anticipatory" grief of a terminal diagnosis, or sitting in the deep silence after a loss has occurred, I am here to offer:

-
A Safe Haven: A space where your grief is witnessed without judgment.
-
Practical Rituals: Meaningful ways to anchor your love and say goodbye.
-
Steady Navigation: Tools to help you manage the overwhelming waves of emotion.

You don't have to find the way back to "normal" on your own. Let’s light a lantern together and find the path that honors both your heart and the beautiful soul you’ve lost.
